Course Description:
This course is for those students who wish to train for professional work as performers in dance and drama. Consisting of 18 units it will provide the skills needed to move, sing and act upon the stage and will be a good preparation for studying Dance or Drama at university or specialist dance or drama schools. The course is geared to practical and vocational work, which will establish basic skills and good working practice for performers as well as seeking to develop students' experience and imagination in performance. There will also be instruction in how the entertainment industry works and how Performing Arts relates to and interacts with society.
