Description
The
Bedfordshire Institute of Media and the Creative & Performing
Arts aims to produce world-class practitioners for the creative
industries. We provide students with excellent facilities, innovative
courses and committed teaching by professional practitioners and
established experts. The Guardian 2007 league table placed
Bedfordshire 3rd in the country for media-related courses, and in the
2008 National Student Survey students ranked Dance as 2nd and
Journalism as 6th in the country.
Our courses are designed to bring
out your full creative potential and provide a dynamic environment in
which tomorrow's filmmakers, journalists, artists, actors, dancers,
scriptwriters and designers work alongside each other. We ensure that
our courses are specifically tailored to meet the needs of our
students and are geared towards fully equipping them with the
necessary knowledge and skills to succeed and secure employment after
graduating. We have strong links with industry including
international companies such as JVC, and national organisations such
as the BBC.
Students benefit from our
proximity to London, home to national and international media
companies, galleries and performance venues.
