Course Description:
If
you would like a technical career in the fast moving world of TV and
video production or radio, this course will give you the right mix of
essential skills and practice-based knowledge to succeed.
As well as developing your
creative ability, you will investigate traditional approaches for
media distribution and new types of online delivery, so you will be
able to produce cutting-edge materials using the latest methods. Our
new campus has all the equipment you will need - including TV and
radio studios - so you can use key industry tools, applications and
equipment to prepare for a career in media production. You have the
chance to gain even more experience through a sandwich placement
between years two and three. This year of work experience will give
you insight into the industry and will look great on your CV, not to
mention the contacts and skills you will gain. By the time you
graduate, you will be highly employable in the world of broadcasting,
radio and T V, interactive environment, design for media and web
development. Because you will work across a range of media, you will
have varied experience and skills that will boost your employment
prospects.
You will have the skills for a
technical career in the broadcasting industries, interactive web
programming and development, multimedia design and consultancy, the
entertainment industry or self-employment.
