Course Description:
This programme is particularly designed for those students who wish to combine an interest in English Literature with the study of theatre in workshop conditions. About half the time is taken up with practical, performance-based work, using the resources of the Workshop Theatre. The rest of the scheme is composed of modules taken from the Single Honours degree. As in Single Honours English, students have a substantial element of choice in shaping their personal scheme. In Levels 2 and 3, students may choose a number of options from within the English Literature and the Theatre Studies areas, besides taking the Production Workshop modules. Additionally, in Level 3 students can create a theatre project of their own.
