The Training Initiative: Caz Williamson
Description
The Training Initiative is the popular, wide-ranging education programme of leading entertainment lighting supplier White Light. Established more than seven years ago, the programme continues to succeed in its aim of sharing the collective knowledge of White Light and its staff with those working in the industry.
The Training Initiative now runs a wide variety of classes and courses. In the popular Schools Lighting Masterclasses, staff from White Light run workshops in the theory and practice of lighting shows at schools around the country. Regular training courses are held at White Light’s Wimbledon base; in the last 12 months these have covered consoles from Avolites, Flying Pig, MA Lighting, Strand Lighting and LSC as well as subjects such as pyrotechnics and rigging; these courses are open to all. White Light can also provide on-site training on specific equipment if required.
