Course Description:
Drama brings together a range of performance and analytic skills and historical and contemporary perspectives. It offers a unique space for us to reflect on ourselves and the world around us, and to imagine and play out other possibilities. Drama Studies at Queen's has excellent links with the professional theatre sector, and the development of creative, research and communication skills prepares graduates for a wide range of career options.
A new purpose-built teaching complex, including the Brian Friel Theatre and rehearsal space now provides even greater opportunities for students to engage in performance, both professionally directed and student led.
Drama study modules include an Introduction to Practical Theatre at Level 1, Theatre Skills at Level 2, and a Practical Theatre Technical Option and Full-Scale Production at Level 3.
