Course Description:
Drama,
Theatre and Performance Studies at Roehampton focuses on analysing
the art of performance through integrated practical and theoretical
study. We actively encourage intellectual curiosity and creativity,
helping students to articulate their ideas in writing, speech and
performance. Students will critically analyse plays, performances and
audiences, build confidence and presentation skills, and develop
their understanding of specific performance activities. The degree
offers a wide range of emphases, but is not designed for those
wishing to pursue vocational actor training.
