Senior Lecturer Drama Theatre and Performance: Nik taylor
Course Description:
On
this course students can pursue their specialist study of Drama,
Theatre and Performance alongside a close examination of the social,
economic, historical, and artistic aspects of the mass media. They
also have the opportunity to develop individual skills in media and
drama production. Drama offers a stimulating contemporary curriculum
giving breadth and depth in its selection of options for study.
Students will engage in theatre and performance work that truly
integrates practice and theory, and will be fully involved in theatre
productions throughout the course.
Year 1 includes an introduction to
Theatre Design and Technology and Year 2 Production Practice, Design
and Technology.
The University also has
Postgraduate and Part-time courses in Performance/Performance
Studies.
