Course Description:
This masters programme supports the planning and completion of an independent research project in the field of Dance and Performance Studies.
It aims to develop skills and understandings necessary to pursue a career in dance and performance research and/or preparation for an MPhil/PhD. Students will receive a grounding in the current debates about, approaches to, and theories, skills and methodologies for dance research. Theses may be assessed entirely through written work, or through written work and a substantial practical project that addresses particular research questions.
