Course Description:
The
Division is home to The Centre for Practice-led Research in the Arts,
The Choreographic Lab, plus several performance companies including
Redleaf Dance, Foreign Bodies Dance Theatre, and The Fictional
Dogshelf Theatre Company.
An exciting new interdisciplinary
MA in the Arts course is now offered with a range of subject routes.
A community of PhD students are engaged in research in all areas of
the School. Approximately 1,300 students are supported by some 75
academic and support staff.
The
School provides a creative and very well-equipped environment
including: dance studios, performance spaces, cinema, digital imaging
lab, music recording studio and practice rooms, printed textiles and
sculpture workshops, printmaking studios, radio and television
studios, 3D fashion and footwear workshops, and photographic
darkrooms.
