Course Description:
Drama and Theatre Studies is taught in The Cornerstone, Hope at Everton. Recently refurbished, The Cornerstone has outstanding Drama facilities, including two new, highly equipped theatres which are used for teaching and student performances. This Grade II listed property is within close proximity to Liverpool’s wide range of theatres and cultural venues. Theatre-going, including attending plays written and directed by Hope’s tutors, is an important part of the course.
Studying Drama and Theatre Studies at Hope, especially as Liverpool approaches its designation as European Capital of Culture 2008, is uniquely exciting. We have a tradition of involvement with the local, national and international drama and cultural scene and opportunities for students include.
An optional module on Technical Theatre is included at Level 2 and Advanced Technical Theatre at Level 3.
