Course Description:
Four terms of up to 13 weeks each encompassing bench work; handling and maintenance of tools; knowledge of timber, hardware and canvas; building, erecting, and maintaining sets in both timber and metal; mechanics of scenery handling and rigging; working drawings and ground-plans; CAD, budgeting and ordering. The course concludes with a public and industry showing of work, and graduates from this course are fully equipped for a successful career in this area of work both in theatre and allied industries.
