Course Description:
Currently we are recruiting students for the advanced level BTEC National Diploma in Production Arts (Technical) course. Through this course you can gain experience across a wide range of entertainment technologies using our first class facilities. This course will help you work towards a career as a Technician or Stage Manager in the entertainment industry. Industry work placements whilst on the course give opportunities to become established with an employer. As well as a varied range of teaching methods you will visit industry and trade shows.
Prospects: progression to Higher Education and employment in theatre, television, arena venues, audio-visual presentation companies and entertainment facilities companies. Successful students will be qualified for Level 4 HND/C and University Degree courses.
Entry requirements: applicants under 19, 24 points on the GSCE Scale (including four Grade C’s), with literacy and numeracy skills or NVQ 2, GNVQ Intermediate or BTEC First Diploma (preferably with a Merit profile), experience if over 19 years of age.
